The Waterloo, Canada-based handsets and software company will launch a new mobile operating system called as BlackBerry 10 on Wednesday, January 30, 2013. The event will be held in several top-selling countries. Indonesia could be picked as one of the several countries in the world for the biggest event conducted by the smartphone pioneer.
On the same day as the new OS launch, BlackBerry’s parent Research In Motion (RIM) will also introduce first two smartphones that run on BlackBerry 10 platform. These two new handsets have been shown by several tech bloggers in recent weeks. But loyal users must wait about 11-weeks to see the official products during the launch of the new platform.
According to the press release, the new platform will incorporate a large catalog of applications (apps) for business and enterprise users. The future OS will include apps for Games, Productivity, Social, Lifestyle and Leisure, Multimedia and Published Content.
