One of the most visited website link on Wednesday morning (September 21) was from the Wall Street Journal’s allthingsd.com. As per the report, the world’s largest technology company will showcase its new iPhone 5 on October 4, 2011. CEO Tim Cook will be on stage to make his first appearance as the most powerful person in Silicon Valley to showcase the new phone.
Previous version iPhone 4 was announced by former CEO Steve Jobs on June 7, 2010 and then released on June 24, 2010, a total of 17 days span. Given this assumption, the new iPhone will be available to phone subscribers no later than October 20, 2011.
The new iPhone 5 will be powered by a very fast A5 microprocessor which currently runs on iPad version 2. It will be equipped with 8 MB digital camera. The phone will run on the new OS which also known as iOS 5. The new iOS 5 was announced by Steve Jobs during the annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) on June 6, 2011.
