Anything free usually sounds very attractive, especially for young kids. The Philadelphia Department of Health launched a website to offer free condoms targeting 11 and 19 years of age kids. The website provides info on sexual transmitted diseases such as chlamydia, gonorrhea, and HIV/AIDS. By combining with social media, Facebook and Twitter, the department also attracts young kids to talk about the free program. The website www.takecontrolphilly.org is funded by local taxpayers.
According to myfoxphilly.com, local people were disagreed with the program as it would increase sexual activities among young kids, especially for the 11 years old pre-teens age group. At the same time, some local residents also argued that the program could also increase the rates of pregnancy among young age.
Thanks for the cool badgees! When do we find out who the Petties nominees are???
