Starting today, majority of Google Gmail users can hook up with other standard phones via computer PCs by attaching microphone and speakers. All phone calls to North America (incl. Canada) are free for now until December 2010, but the giant search company could extend this free period later. While International calls will be charged at very low rates at around $0.02 per minute.
Only America-based Gmail users will be able to use the new phone feature. According to Google blog, most American users will soon see an icon “Call Phones” in their Gmail accounts, as soon as users see this icon, they can make calls immediately.
What a great article. I am searching this for long time. Thank you for your information.
