America’s Food and Drug Administration (FDA) reported on Tuesday that several top-brands infant's and children's medications are tested positive for bacterial contamination, reported latimes.com. The FDA believes that raw materials used to produce children's medications could contain some kind of foreign materials.
Last weekend, Johnson & Johnson's McNeil Consumer Healthcare subsidiary has recalled about 50 types of children's Tylenol, Motrin, Zyrtec and Benadryl.
The FDA also found many violations at the drug maker’s manufacturing facility such as using unclean equipment, using untrained and low-skilled workers, and applying incorrectly measurement of the drug ingredients.
