
Japanese researchers at St Mother Hospital in Kitakyushu have successfully used eggs from younger donors to repair older women’s damaged eggs in order to produce several early stage embryos in a laboratory in Japan, as reported by
telegraph.co.uk. This could lead to a new generation of genetically modified baby. While it’s prohibited to produce genetically modified baby in many developed nations, in recent years the growing futuristic science of stem-cell researches have forced governments around the world to adopt softer rules on the new scientific findings.
