
Over a million Hindu worshippers from around the world gather this week in Nepal to honor Gadhimai, a Hindu goddess of power. Hindu believers flock into this huge festival to gain more prosperous in coming years with an offering to the goddess. In the meantime many Western protestors from animals rights also joined the festival which sponsored by activists from Europe and other part of the world. This year world's biggest animal sacrifice continued with fanfares where local organizers estimated to killing of more than 250,000 animals (incl. thousands of buffalo). As reported by
