
The world non-profit governing body, ICANN, who handles website addresses is expected to approve a new way to type in a domain name using world languages and characters (non-Latin script). Domain names in world languages and characters include Arabic, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Greek, Hindi, and others. As reported by
UKPA Press Association, according to ICANN meeting this week in Seoul, South Korea, domain names in non-Latin script will begin in use starting sometime in mid 2010.
