According to data published by comScore, Microsoft Bing search engine maintained a steady level in May and captured 15.4% share of search market, compared to 15.4% in April 2012. This was unchanged for the past two months.
The world largest search engine Google share increased to 66.7% in May 2012, compared to 66.5% share in April 2012. This was an increase of 0.2% during the past one month.
Bing-powered search engine and also the 10-year-contract search partner Yahoo continued to experience drops in search market during the past few months. The search engine pioneer dropped to 13.4% share in May, compared to 13.5% share in April. This was a drop of 0.1%.
The combination of Bing and Yahoo totaled 28.8% share in May 2012. The combo had a total of 28.9% share in April 2012.
