Budget option for families with kids, small businesses with few employees, and users with several Internet connected gadgets will soon be able to subscribe to shared-data plans. The new data plans will be offered by two largest mobile carriers in America, Verizon Wireless and AT&T, this upcoming summer. The two carriers are still learning the benefits of offering such plans and undecided on the pricing, as reported by businessweek.com.
The cheapest data-plan offered today by AT&T is $15 for 200MB data usage per month. Other plans include $20 for 300MB data usage, and go as high as $50 for 5GB data usage. Most customers must sign a two-year contract with the current pricing.
