As PayPal had accepted payment in over 2,000 Home Depot stores since early this year, the online payment pioneer will now expand into 15 more brick and mortar stores include Abercrombie & Fitch, Advance Auto Parts, Aéropostale, American Eagle Outfitters, Barnes & Noble, Foot Locker, Guitar Center, Jamba Juice, JC Penney, Jos. A. Bank Clothiers, Nine West, Office Depot, Rooms To Go, Tiger Direct and Toys “R” Us.
The eBay’s division will also partner with VeriFone Systems and Equinox Payments to get the PayPal payment technology into those two networks to accept payments during checkout. This partnership will expand PayPal system into over 40 million payment terminals in brick and mortar stores worldwide.
PayPal has been widely available for online payment since the early day of ecommerce which was later acquired by eBay. The PayPal system continues to helping eBay to generate revenues for their earnings. The PayPal payment system is a very convenience system and has won many customers hearts. Many users have put down their credit cards at home (i.e., Visa, MasterCard, Amex) and only carrying a PayPal login and a password.
