Tech bloggers around the world were super busy this morning to publish post after post via live blogging with up to every minute detail from San Francisco. The biggest event of the day was about Apple's new product, as the most valuable company in the world announced a new iPad.
During the announcement, CEO Tim Cook just called the third generation of tablet computer “The New iPad.” Many tech watchers and analysts had speculated for weeks that the new product will be called “iPad 3″ or “iPad HD.”
In term of product specifications, the New iPad will be equipped with the following upgrades, such as a Retina Display, faster chip A5X, camera 5 megapixels, 1080p HD video recording, and 4G LTE wireless support.
There are only two models, WiFi and 4G LTE. The WiFi basic model with 16GB will cost $499, while the basic model with 4G LTE will cost $629. Apple website is now taking pre-orders and the New iPad will arrive in front of customer’s door on Friday, March 16, 2012.
