California-based medical marijuana growers, weGrow, opens its first store in East Coast on Friday (March 30) to the capital city of America and its surrounding residents with medical needs to use pot. The store was founded by Dhar Mann, a California entrepreneur, who opened its first store in Sacramento, the capital city of the largest state in America, in 2011.
The East Coast’s weGrow is located about a few miles from the White House and other government buildings. As the capital city of America, Washington, D.C. has recently allowed its residents to use marijuana to cure certain medical needs.
Citing data from Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, usatoday.com reported that about 7% of population in America or representing 17.4 million people had used marijuana in 2010, compared to prior three years (or 2007) the percentage was 5.8% or representing 14.4 million people.
