Two top researchers from Britain and Switzerland, John Skehel of Britain's National Institute for Medical Research and Antonio Lanzavecchia of Swiss’s privately-owned Humabs, worked really hard to find one-shot treatment targeting all types of flu viruses, as reported by reuters.com. One super shot is all you need to tackle flu viruses. The method to fight all types of flu viruses is also known as "super antibody" which in medical term dubbed as FI6.
Pharmaceuticals and flu vaccines producers believe the new method of one-shot could help to reduce cost of producing new formulas to protect human against new types of flu viruses each season. Medical experts predict that the new universal "super antibody" flu vaccine could protect world’s population from all types of flu viruses for years to come.
