Say hello to BlackPad, a touch-screen tablet from the maker of BlackBerry smartphones

Black-pad-blackpad-blackberry The maker of BlackBerry smartphones Research In Motion Ltd. (RIM) has purchased a domain BlackPad.com few weeks ago.  On Friday Bloomberg confirmed that RIM's BlackPad is coming before the most busy holiday shopping week (November). 

Not only the new BlackPad will compete with Apple's iPad in term of features, but also in pricing as well, as Bloomberg reported that pricing for the device will start at $499.  It has touch screen which measures about 9.7 inches.  BlackPad will include Wi-Fi and Bluetooth technology that will synch with BlackBerry smartphones.
