Google said on Monday (March 15) that advertisers will have to pay more money to place pay-per-click ads on mobile phones than PC-based ads, as reported by reuters.com.
Data from comScore mobile unit shows that Internet users are moving rapidly to smartphones to conduct search. Google dominates mobile search.
As per reuters.com quoted Google Engineering Vice President Vic Gundotra said "We hope and believe that there's even a chance that we could exceed desktop in the future." According to Gundotra, Google's total searches from mobile users have increased over 500% during the past two years span.
